Geography tutors in Johannesburg

I have completed my Grade 8 in piano and used to run a music Academy - would love to teach again.

I am interested in teaching English, Geography and History. I am also a qualified primary school teacher.

My name is Roy, i hold a LLB degree (UNISA) and HCLAW(UNISA) I fluently speak French and English, a very fun and understanding person to work or study with. Understanding the need of students to master basic modules, is what motivates me to help those in need of a partner in studies rather than a tutor. A mentor rather than an educator.

I am currently a final year Bachelor of Pharmacy student at the University of the Witwatersrand. I love working with people, am extremely patient and a great communicator which I believe makes me an exceptional tutor. The subject areas that I am hugely passionate about and competent in are Life Sciences/Biology, Geography, English and Afrikaans (First Additional Language).

I am a qualified geological scientist and i received an A for geography in high school. I have a passion for geography and have thus made a career out of it. Geography has always been one of my favorite subjects hence i have always been good at it. With my help and expertise you will be passing with flying colours.

i am able to teach the students in ways they can relate and understand. i use techniques that can help them understand the work and be able to remember what they have been taught. many learners battle with the concepts being taught as they teachers tend to rush when they have a tight schedule to get through, i want to help students understand the content and not feel rushed.

This subject was one of my favorite subjects back in high school. I believe this was due to its simple and definitive nature, this suited me well as I am a fan of structure. I find geographical concepts easy to understand and equally so in terms of explaining them. I believe with hard work, great communication and discipline we can help any student achieve greater success in their studies.
