In my spare time i enjoy running, hiking, reading and coding. I was a youth leader at my church for two years and as such have experience working with children of all ages.

I have successfully coached for SATs for six years. I consistently achieved marks in the 90 percentile in my own SATs. My teaching style gives the student confidence and strategies to approach problems on their own, and successfully solve them.

I was trained in 2017 as an English SAT tutor, and have furthered my knowledge since then. I have extensive experience tutoring SAT English, and pride myself in a personalized lesson plan according to each students' strengths. I also become a trainer at my last place of work and ran an SAT course where I trained other tutors on how to approach SAT English. To date, I have tutored over 300 hours of SAT English.

Of my 1100 hours of one-on-one private tuition, 209 were for SAT English and SAT Math. I have taught SAT preparation to Afrikaans HL speakers as well as to English HL students. I am also familiar with the SAT essay format and grading scheme.
