I have over 10 years of tutoring experience as an English FL and English SL tutor and 5 years as an Afrikaans SL tutor; I also tutor IELTS and have taught at an International English Language School. I teach because it allows me to impact lives and create growth opportunities for my students. I get to see a learner’s potential, working alongside them to help them achieve their goals. I teach: • Phonics to Grade 12 (students of all ages and nationalities) • Grammar, writing, speaking, listening, general conversation • Preparations for exams. • IELTS certification classes. • TOEFL certification classes. • Adult ABET education. • Business English classes. I am teaching online Zoom lessons for both Individuals and groups.

I am an English speaker and passionate about languages. Other languages include French with intermediate proficiency and Portuguese with basic proficiency. Passion to teach other improve or learn English is what I have and want to impart that knowledge into others.

I have been an English language lecturer for the past 9 years, teaching English FAL level 2 to level 4 at College level, which is equivalent to grade 10 - 12. I am well qualified in Education and my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) includes a qualification in teaching languages. I have also obtained a TEFL International qualification which allows me to teach English to foreign language students. Teaching languages is a passion of mine.

Apart from achieving A level results is high school for the said subject (IGCSE and As syllabus). I have published a short story and have more than three years experience tutoring literature and running a literature society at the University. I am also in the process of writing my first ever full fantasy novel.

I consider my self a best tutor for English Language because I am very proficient in English language (spoken, read and written). I have learnt English as a first additional language and literature from a reception grade and I have since been the best learner, not only in English but in other subjects especially Maths Literacy. In high school, I always came out at the top of my class, for best performance in English and Maths Literacy for which I was awarded a certificate. My high school average was always above 75%. I have also acquired a diploma in Credit Management from a renowned University of Johannesburg with more than 8 distinctions mostly in Business law. I am a very patient person, self starter and I pay attention to details.

I was an online teacher for the Chinese and Japanese students in 2019. I have a neutral English accent. I enjoy teaching English because I get to learn new words and other things that I didn’t know. I make it very easy to learn.🎈

I am the best tutor for English as I thoroughly enjoy teaching English. I have experience in teaching English to young learners. I make my lessons fun and interesting. I use a lot of practical examples and I include my students.

I am currently studying to become a teacher and specializing in English. I also have experience with tutoring English to primary school children. English is also another subject I am passionate about.

I have been an avid reader from a young age. My love for reading quickly developed into a passion for the English Language. Additionally, I received a distinction for English in my matric year. I enjoy writhing poetry.

English language is a difficult subject and one doesn't always understand what is going on in the subject and that is okay. I am a home language English and Afrikaans speaker and languages are my strong point and I want everyone to feel comfortable with both languages and not see it as hard or dread the work.
