I am 27 years old. My interests are Chess, Acoustic Guitar, Writing and Reading. I am an optimistic and committed individual.

I love cycling, Netball , reading and swimming, I enjoy interacting with people of all ages, because I believe everyday one should learn something new

I am a positive, self-motivated person and I use all my energy to make a success of whatever I approach. I love the process of making something work and enjoy working with my learners. I am an adventurous, success driven and enthusiastic young lady. I love to be creative and spend my time to practicing various art projects as a hobby, I also have a great love for the arts. I like to exercise and strive to live a healthy, balanced life. I like the outdoor air and appreciate the beauty of nature.

I competed in the Afrikaans Olympiad in high school and did really well. I also speak Afrikaans and English at home. I am currently a second year student at university and taking English as a second year subject. I have also taken an education subject last year as I want to become a teacher although I am studying languages at the moment.

I enjoy Teaching English as it gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and learn different cultures. It’s not only about grammar or making better sentences but it is also about having the chance to speak up and to be heard. I do believe that everyone can learn and speak English whilst having fun too!

I have experience tutoring English as a foreign language to people from all walks of life. I am able to adapt my tutoring style to each student's abilities and proficiency ensuring that they get the most effective language learning experience for them.

I have recently completed both my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) 160 hour course. Teaching in a school where English was the medium of instruction, many of the children did not come from homes where English was the spoken language. Due to this I have learnt to alter lessons to suit and help those children.

Growing up in the village I was not exposed to the English language, I learned it from watching cartoons. I remember attending a private school for the first time I was so scared because i did not trust my English but i did great. As a tutor I see students struggling with the English language and it results to some failing. English is very important and it is a barrier for others. Therefore I am passionate about helping others reach their own goals like I did. Unlike me using cartoons, for them to actually have someone with them to help.

I have an experience in teaching English online as a Foreign Language to Asian students which includes: - Literature - Grammar - Reading - Vocabulary I also did English as a First Additional Language throughout my school and varsity years. I am well acquainted in speaking and writing English very well.
