During my BSc degree at UP, I took Molecular and Cell Biology in first year and I took Microbiology and Biochemistry up to third year level as majors. I also did Genetics in second year. During my honours year, I also took subjects that required a background in biochemistry such as bioinorganic chemistry and medicinal chemistry.

With more than two years’ experience in working in a biochemistry laboratory as a student assistant in assessing, assisting, preparing, invigilating and facilitating students during their practical sessions, I can help students understand the basic and advanced biochemistry easier and in its simplest manner. I have attended conferences of which I was exposed to networking and exchanging commentary scientific reviews with international scientists, which broadened and sharpened some of my strengths and weaknesses. I specialised in biochemistry up until my honors degree.

I have a Bsc in Life sciences were i majored in Biochemistry with an average pass mark of above 65%. obtained distinction on Biochemistry practicals. well vested knowledge in organic chemistry , which forms the basis of understanding Biochemistry.

I have an honors degree in chemistry, I have all the basic knowledge and expertise in chemistry subjects these include organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, and inorganic chemistry. I did ALEVELS Chemistry Biology and Geography, which are also subjects I can teach. I have two years of industrial experience working as a laboratory chemist focusing on chemical analysis of manufactured medicines. I am currently studying for a masters degree in chemistry majoring nanotechnology
