I finished high school in The Netherlands at an international school where I obtained my IB diploma. I work very well with any kind of person. I am very patient and I love to help people excel in any aspect of their lives. I am currently doing my second year towards a degree in psychology. I study through UNISA which allows me to be flexible with my schedule.

I am currently saving up to go study fine arts and art history. I paint and draw in my free time and also enjoy writing stories and poetry. I love reading and the dramatic arts. I am very interested in english literacy aswell. I work well with people and am very patient. I am a creative and visual thinker. I work as an au pair during the day and lived in America for two months working as an au pair.

Having graduated in "The mother of all art forms" - Architecture - and having honed the various acquired skills over 27 years - experience has shown that art should be presented/taught as "a journey of the soul" (rather than merely another subject) via a hands-on approach (in the various mediums such as pencil, paint, sculpture, wireframes, etc.) freeing the student from stereotype thinking by developing unique visual perception and techniques of individualistic expression. I am the best tutor for this subject as I am passionate about encouraging kids to be creative and to truly express themselves. I matriculated with art as a subject and have been practicing ever since. I am able to help students with different kinds of drawing techniques.

I will improve your basic artistic skills in drawing, painting, sculpting and photography, with a fun twist, and build on our ideas and creativity. I am able to extensively aid in retaining Art Theory information, as well as improving answering techniques and short and long easy questions. With Art Practical and Theory components, I will help you achieve the great mark you can, in both areas.

Good foundation on primary subjects. Languages and theory subjects as well. Prior experience from teaching abroad, as I have a hobby for teaching and enjoy the environment. We use good study methods as well as a follow up programme to ensure students stay up to track.

I obtained the subject prize for Visual Arts 3 years in a row I have extensive knowledge on Art theory I was awarded the Carl Oosthuizen Trophy for attaining highest marks in Visual Art for grade 12 My fellow classmates would approach me for tips and advice on their personal/school art projects.
