Born in a Christian family, I did primary and high school education including Advanced Level, My first job was a temporary High School Teacher in Mathematics, Biology, General Science, Physics before joining a rail company as an apprentice Fitter Machinist, later qualifying as a Fitter, kept studying Mechanical Engineering Technician and Diploma level, then further working as a Mechanical Draughtsman before winning a scholarship to study B.Engineering(Hons) in Industrial Engineering. I then worked in various portfolios as an Junior and Senior Mechanical Engineer as well as Projects Engineer in both rail and Mining Industry. I even lectured students at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in various Mechanical Engineering subjects for two years. I left to join an SA rail company hub in Zimbabwe which opened my horizons further regarding seeing the 'Big Picture' in Strategic Management, Business Acumen and general leadership and management knowledge, skills and attributes.
The company decided to scale down operations in Zim hence I was eventually retrenched.
I am an avid reader and I follow life events from political, social and economic perspective just to gain a full understanding of where our world came from, where we are and what future prospects may come in the future. I am very passionate about education and learning to the extent that I used to help students in whatever community I were to help them understand Mathematics, Science and Business Studies. I even paid fees for some poor students during my year as a Temporary High School Teacher. Since 2011 I have been involved as a Management Development Facilitator for mainly African government and parastatal employees as par of countries Capacity Building needed to champion the development in their respective countries as encouraged by United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, NGOs, African union as well as European Union apart from different efforts of individual countries of the world in fighting poverty, hunger, illiteracy, Women and Child Abuse, Curable diseases etc apart from contributing to social, political and economic development in Developing Countries.
I love sport especially Soccer, Basketball, Cricket , Rugby and Tennis.
I am a member of Centurion Toastmasters Club which is part of Toastmasters International which is the world's largest organization championing Communication and Leadership Development in a very friendly learning environment.
I am quite a spiritual person and Christian by faith. I am a none-smoker, not into drinking beer but can take wine when relaxing.
