I am currently studying Educational Psychology and it would be great to gather as much teaching experience as possible. I aim to teach through interesting and fun ways that will suite the learner's study methods. I also want to improve study methods by introducing various alternative learning ways to learners.

In 2011 I completed my honours degree in Corporate Communication Management where I graduated first in my class. Lecturing is my passion. I have a passion for art and creative writing and this year I will complete my masters degree in Strategic Communication. Work Experience I qualified as a high school teacher, and taught in high schools in South Africa from 1967 to 1972. I was appointed as senior lecturer at Unisa in 1980, promoted to associate professor in 1988, and to a full professor in 1996. Graduated with an LLB degree in 2017. Currently enrolled in the Multidisciplinary Human Rights Masters' programme at the University of Pretoria. Graduated Matric with 5 distinctions including English and Afrikaans. Passionate about learning and helping people to realise their full potential. I'm good at breaking down concepts and explaining each element separately.

I have experience in teaching Afrikaans as an additional language across diverse cultural and learning ability levels. Many of my learners learnt Afrikaans as a 2nd or even 3rd additional language. Having practical knowledge about language acquisition as well as knowledge in Special Needs Education makes me the most amazing Afrikaans teacher! Learning must be FUN!

I achieved 90% in my final exams for this subject, and maintained distinctions throughout high school. I am bilingual and can easily help you learn this language. I will help you understand your required reading with translations and interpretations, answer questions, make use of past papers, and provide you with valuable resources.
