I scored 88% for my final physical science and chemistry exam in matric, and I'm currently taking a general physics course at university. I think I am more than capable of providing students with the knowledge they need to improve their skills in physics at the high school level.

I am studying a Bachelor of Science at UCT, and have always had a passion for Chemistry and Physics. I achieved 96% for Physical Sciences in the final NSC examinations in 2018. I have experience tutoring learners in Physical Science through an outreach programme and have sound knowledge of all the concepts covered.

I obtained 90+ for physical sciences in high school and have a good grasp of the material as a specialized further in this material (particularly chemistry) on a tertiary level. I have been tutoring extensively over the past 4 years and consider myself highly adaptable to the needs of the student.

I am currently studying Engineering at Stellenbosch University and have adopted a deeper and more insightful understanding for basic concepts. I love physics, weird I know. I have had lots of experience with Physics. I got 82% in my NSC exams for it. I also did A-Levels in Mathematics and Mechanics (Physics and Math on steroids). I have also had lots of exposure to it thanks to my university studies, studying Mechanical Engineering. I hope to bring my excitement of Physical sciences over to you and to help you understand how the world around you works. It is actually really cool.

Physical Sciences are about understanding and exploring. I love to introduce my students to this "magical" world that exists all around us. I have a Bachelor's degree in Science and am currently completing my PGCE to become a Physical Science teacher. I have vast knowledge of this subject through high school and university experience.

I have taught Physics for many years covering the CAPS, IEB and Cambridge IGCSE and AS level curricula It’s my favorite subject to teach. Again , I work through many past papers with my students to ensure they have been exposed to every kind of question.

For as long as I can remember, the world of science has fascinated me. It is for that reason that I pursued science-based degree programs (initially Engineering, currently Medicine) at university. In high school, I would often compete in Science Olympiads which I consistently performed well in (Top 100 in the Physical Sciences Olympiad (2015); 1st Place in Mpumalanga Mintek Quiz (2015)). I also achieved a final result of 93% for Physical Science at the end of matric. However, despite my passion for science, I understand that it can be a polarising subject and that some students require a little more time to come to grips with some of the concepts covered in the curriculum. I also think that these students have the most to gain from a tutor who is passionate, but patient, about this subject. I believe in the importance of understanding, and not just memorising, the concepts covered in the Science curriculum, and I would be delighted to have the opportunity to facilitate that learning.

I have over 5 years of Physical Science tutoring experience. Science, like maths, is a unique subject in that its governing concepts revolve around the nature of life as we know it. Learning about that, and imparting that knowledge onto others while discussing the way the world works within it, is something I am eager to do.
