I am dedicated, hard working and goal oriented. I love sport & fitness and have coached hockey & cross country as well as given general body toning sessions.

I am a qualified Language Practitioner, and I have my own Freelance company. I also have also a Post Graduate Diploma (I studied in the U.K.) in Tourism and Hospitality Management. I have been working as a Language Practitioner since 2000 till currently. I am very good with children and I am passionate about education. I have years of experience (year and abroad) working with Primary School children as a tutor/Au Pair.

I am 27 years old and have a passion for English in all its weird and wonderful forms. I love making people feel good about themselves and helping them achieve their goals. I am naturally drawn to environments where I am able to make a positive impact on the space around me. I enjoy music and anything creative as well as the outdoors. I am always willing to go extra length to accommodate people and am friendly and compassionate.

I have studied IT for 3 years at Falsebay College  in Fish Hoek,  Cape Town.  I enjoy reading murder mysteries,  romance and horror novels.  I love watching the cooking network,  I love food.  I have 2 dogs who I love oodles and oodles.

Ever since I can remember I naturally ended up teaching individuals things that I understood well. Friends often asking me in high school to help them with subjects they were struggling with (Maths & Science). It was the same at University - I helped friends to understand Psychometric calculations in Industrial psychology as well as computers (confidence in using computers for the first time, as well as formulas in Microsoft Excel. When I first arrived in the Uk I took a datacapturing job however soon started helping everyone in computers as many of them were struggling with using the Microsoft office packages. It was of no surprise that I went on to do part time studies in the Microsoft office packages and completed the Master MOUSE qualification (Microsoft Office User specialist to advanced level). From there I progressed on to becoming a High school teacher in computers (in job training and qualified at Brunel University, London, Uk) I taught for 7 years in a high school in London. I relocated to South Africa and have been a stay-at home mom until the beginning of this year as my daughter is now attending pre-school. I had four years in which I imparted many skills to my daugher including creating a good foundation in Afrikaans and English. My daughter is four years old and she is fully bilingual. As my daughter is now attending school I really would like to get back into teaching and I am particularly interested in tutoring as I really enjoy one-on-one teaching.

I am a fun and bubbly person with a vast subject knowledge. I pay special attention to each individual student and their strengths and tailor-make my lessons around their unique ways of learning. By combining my experience in teaching and psychology, I am able to offer a very special teaching experience.
