As an education student, a lot of emphasis is placed on how to teach history as it is a tricky subject to learn. There are a lot of different skills needed to be able to remember all the information and I believe I can help the learner come up with creative and fun ways to learn history and retain the information.

I am familiar with both Windows and iOS. I have been trained in Computers in high school where I achieved a distinction at the end of grade 12. I also use technology and computers in a lot of my lessons for other subjects and have had a lot of practice over the years.

Biology is primarily a study subject, however no information will be retained with the subject is not understood. Biology was one of my choice subjects in high school and I have had experience teaching the subject the high school students when working for a home school. I know of a lot of different places to get resources for the subject and to help the learner understand the different parts of the subject. This can range from plants, to animals to the workings of the human eye.

One should always be expanding on their vocabulary and this can only be done through exposure. I will combine vocabulary into the learners other problem areas. This will teach the learner that we can always learn something new with whatever we are focusing on.

I can help spark the creativity in children and show them there is nothing to be afraid of when given a large word count. I can help the learner write effectively and efficiently as to not take up too much time when writing their story.

Grammar is a part of everyday life and if not understood correctly can result in improper communication. Grammar can be seen in writing and speaking. It is a skill that needs to be developed through practice of other skills and taught in conjunction with other problem areas. By allowing the learner to learn in this type of way I am joining their thought process that grammar is not exclusive to one section of the English Language.

There are different ways to learn this subject and I believe that the learn it the best it cannot be done straight out of the textbook. This subject requires a practical aspect to it and can be achieved in multiple ways.

A lot of the time learners do not know how to start writing a story, how to practice for an oral/speech or even how to study effectively. I can teach the learner certain skills that will help them in each section of English and other subjects.
