Chemical Engineering tutors in Western Cape

I am currently completing MSc in Chem. Eng. in the university of Cape Town. In addition to my own research work, I have work as a teaching assistant in the department, initially tutoring the first year chem. eng. students and secondly tutoring the second and third year students in the lab.

I have been doing sciences since high school. I finished my O'Level studies with 8As and 3Bs then majored in sciences for my Advanced level high school as well. I then took up Chemical Engineering in Varsity and I have basically been majoring in physics, chemistry and maths. I am also good at report writing, editing, referencing and teaching reading skills.

I have recently graduated with Frist Class Honours in Chemical Engineering from UCT. This covered all aspects of Chemical Engineering from the fundamentals of Mass and Energy Balances, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics etc. all the way to Process Synthesis, Equipment Design, Unit Operations and extensive project work and design projects. It is a challenging but exiting degree, and with the correct teaching and hard work it can be easy to excel!

I attended high school at St. Benedict's College in Johannesburg were I was deputy head boy in 2014. I achieved an 84% average with distinctions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Information Technology. I also participated in advanced program Mathematics and English which set me in good stead for university. I am currently in my second year at Stellenbosch University studying Chemical Engineering. Engineering has advanced on almost every aspect of the above mentioned subjects (besides for English) and I therefore have a very firm grasp on high school concepts and work.

I am a student doing my master in chemical engineering at CPUT. I have a very good understanding of mathematics and science in general. I can tutor math and science subjects both at school and university level. My average in math was 83 % and 75 % overall for my last qualification. I am patient, enthusiastic about my subjects, ready to keep the subject as interesting as possible.

I am currently doing my Masters in Chemical Engineering at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. As a postgraduate I am exposed to interactions with undergraduate students who need assistance in various courses: * Mathematics (school tutoring: Grade 11-12) * Physical sciences (Grade 11-12) * Chemistry (Inorganic and Organic) * Engineering Physics * Physical Chemistry * Chemical Reactor Technology * Chemical Engineering Technology * Chemical Engineering Design * Fluid Flow and Mass Transfer Principles * Chemical Engineering Unit Operations * CAD training (Solid Edge).

I have always loved science and mathematics as well as languages and I used to tutor my fellow classmates. I believe that every student is capable of excelling in academics - all you need is the right person to help you find your study method and instill passion for learning, because learning really can be fun. I recently completed my degree in Chemical Engineering at Stellenbosch University and I am currently taking a short course in German whilst applying for jobs. Thus, I have a highly flexible schedule. For as long as I can remember, I have been the one in my family to watch over everyone's kids, so working with young people comes naturally to me.

I am a chemical engineer currently pursuing my Master's and can help other chemical engineering students with their courses and important soft skills (writing and presenting). I am currently working in Bioresource Engineering (anaerobic digestion), but have worked in Metallurgy (for my Honours I extracted copper and gold out of computer parts and have worked on a mine). I can really help you to write a solid scientific report and/or present findings. I've done it many times (even for symposiums).
