I believe I am the best tutor for this subject because I am reliable, honest and trustworthy. I enjoy teaching other students so that they can have a better understanding of the subject or module. Afrikaans was my highest grade in matric. I got a 93 in my final exam. Afrikaans was the fourth language I learned and I first did not like it at all just because people would laugh at me for having a German accent that South Africans cannot place when speaking Afrikaans as so little Germans try to speak it. After a while I quickly realised that Afrikaans is quite similar to German and it grew on me and I find it very cute. I enjoy teaching it as a first additional language.

It is my mother tongue and I am fluent in this language. My deceased husband was a famous Afrikaans writer (George Weideman) and I can support my learners with literature, writing, reading, grammar, vocabulary and oral presentations.
