Writing tutors in Stellenbosch

Because of my degree in Humanities, I am very used to writing lots of essays. I can assist with speech writing as well as practicing of speeches. I did Drama for matric, which I found beneficial in saying my speeches. As well as I can help with writing and structure of essays.

I have 4 years of experience in academic writing and editing. My time as a student has taught me how to structure an essay, how to use an effective vocabulary, how to research, and how to proofread. As a tutor, I will revise and instruct students on how to write clearly and effectively.

Writing is a hobby of mine that I would like to pursue professionally and so I have developed this skill by writing for my high school newsletter, writing my own short stories and perfecting my essay researching and structuring skills. This is truly a passion of mine and something I find comes naturally to me.

I consider myself a good writer because I have to do it for univeristy. However, i also enjoy writing for pleasure. I have a high vocabulary in English and have been studying english for as long as I have been a student. For univerisity and pleasure I do alot of reading and, therefore, I add new words to my vocabulary everyday. this is essential for writing a cohesive project. I am also good at structuring all types of writing projects.

I am well experienced and I am studying my PhD in Languages at the University of Stellenbosch. i have been tutoring students for the past five years and they doing so great with their english hence i am passionate about doing my job

I completed a 150 hour TEFL/TESOL course and received the certificate with distinction. This qualification permits me to teach English as a foreign language or English to speakers of other languages in all phases from pre-school to adult level. I am in fact planning to move to Asia later this year and teach English full time. Furthermore, I studied in English at University, which is a combined four years. The assessments for my very last year of studies (a PGCE) were mostly in the form of essays. Coming from a science background, I had to learn the basics of academic English writing again and at the end of the year, I received six distinctions and graduated cum laude. This means that i can guide someone from: "How do I begin?" right up to: "How do I make this great?" Additionally I have a great love for writing .

I believe that my writing skills are sharpened and detailed. I wrote an entire PhD dissertation in English. I have a book on Amazon, titled The Garden of My Heart. I have a blog on Wordpress where I write about different topics. I am currently working on my second book which focuses on developing black people.

I have helped children from all different ages learn to write and to do so in a way that makes them more confident in themselves and their own writing. For me, I have always enjoyed writing whether it was for school or at home, making up stories or even in learning new words. To write is best said as this, the pen is mightier than the sword.
