I am 24 years old and currently in the final year of completing my degree in education(senior and intermediate phase). I am specializing in English and Psychology and have a knowledge of all learning areas from grade 4-9. I have completed 4 teaching practical periods, each of which consisted of 6 weeks. This has given me one on one interaction with learners and has exposed me to the context of the different learning areas in this phase. Further to this I have taught at a local school for a period of 6 months where i served as a substitute educator. I taught english , mathematics, natural science and technology and isizulu . I love English and I love tutoring! I also love anything to do with education, the environment, children and assisting others. My favourite way of teaching is face to face (which includes online teaching) with my own resources and anything else that I can use to make a lesson more accessible for each person. I believe that all students are unique individuals who have their own ways of learning and absorbing new information. So I adapt to each individual with my own unique resources and attitude and teaching. I have taught all ages since 2004 and I love teaching any person from age 6 until age 76! My hobbies include reading, yoga, walking, being outdoors as much as possible, gardening and parenting.

I grew up in Kwazulu-Natal, Richards Bay and graduated with a Bachelor of Education in English Education degree from University of Zululand in 2019 and a Certification in Computer Literacy from Mandeni Municipality.
