I love English and I love tutoring! I also love anything to do with education, the environment, children and assisting others. My favourite way of teaching is face to face (which includes online teaching) with my own resources and anything else that I can use to make a lesson more accessible for each person. I believe that all students are unique individuals who have their own ways of learning and absorbing new information. So I adapt to each individual with my own unique resources and attitude and teaching. I have taught all ages since 2004 and I love teaching any person from age 6 until age 76! My hobbies include reading, yoga, walking, being outdoors as much as possible, gardening and parenting.

Tutor
I have been tutoring for agencies and privately since 2014 but I also did tutor in Environmental Education during 2003-2006. The recent tutoring I am doing is Primary School learners, mainly English, Afrikaans and other subjects. I prefer one on one in a neutral venue using school books and my resources.
Environmental Educator and Blogger
Inspiring children of primary and high school ages to love Nature and to take action about Environmental crises. Gardening, outings to beautiful habitats, cleaning up waste and pollution, reporting on issues and how other organisations or individuals take action for their Earth. Art, writing, blogging and photography included.
Education
Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Development (ECD) - INTEC College
Completed one important level for Early Child Development so that I can reach out to this age group and set the groundwork for the future. I love to work with the youngsters of the ages 4 to 7 and hope to one day bring the English into the Kids Yoga that I also teach.
Masters in Education (Environmental) - Rhodes University
A two year book work and mini thesis Masters where I learned a lot about tutoring and the Environmental Crisis. I also took this into my journalism and my teaching as Environment underlies all that we do and learn.
BA Journalism and English - Rhodes University
I majored in Journalism and English because I LOVE the English language, writing and learning more about our world through Journalism. I did Linguistics too which was so stimulating and the theory of grammar and language structure so amazing!
