I am a second year Bachelors of Arts student at University of Pretoria. I took a gap year last year and worked in a boarding school in Australia as a house mother/tutor. I received an ‘A’ for English home language and History for my matric finals and a high ‘B’ for Biology and Music History. I received distinctions for English and History in my first year of university. I am outgoing and confident and eager to help others.

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the University of Johannesburg. Because everyone, even the smartest and brightest, needs help sometimes, I want to offer my experiences and advice whenever possible. I really enjoy engaging with fellow students to empower and enrich their experiences with various science subjects. I really love translating difficult information into simpler analogies, and I love infusing creativity in my approach. Truly, it is impossible to simply replicate someone else's approach to studying or doing anything because each individual is unique. I am a qualified chemical engineer that has been tutoring for several years now. I moved to Madrid Spain to teach English and now I am back in Johannesburg. I love tutoring and helping students to understand the questions and work. I am flexible with my approach to problem solving and love to learn new things.

I'm currently a third year student at Stellenbosch University, studying BComm Managerial Accounting. In my free time I'm very active and enjoy sports, fitness and socializing. The reason for my application to become a tutor is to earn extra money that can help me pay for my studies.
