I worked for Accernetco: Maths and Science clinic NPO doing administrative and communication office work. Hi! My name is Michail Schmulian. You can just call me Michail. I have a B.Sc degree in Zoology and Ecology that I obtained in 2011. After that I worked in IT as a Junior Linux/Systems Administrator. In this time I also did a certificate in Information Systems Engineering. After leaving my job in IT in 2015, I became an English as a Second Language teacher in Asia. Four months in China, and about Three and a half years in South Korea. I have experience teaching English as a Second Language to students of different levels, ranging from absolute beginner to adults, and ages ranging from 3/4 years old to adults. I like to have fun with my students and create a relaxed environment where we can talk about anything. My hobbies include singing, improvisation, performing on stage, reading, gaming, etc.

My name is Xylona Page. I am from South Africa. I graduated in Journalism in 2015. I have taught English online to Asian adults and children (age 5-18) for 1 year and 6 months. I have always been passionate about the English language and I enjoy sharing that passion with those who are keen and interested in learning English. I was then appointed in the school of languages and communications under the department of linguistics and translation studies as an assistant lecturer. I absolutely love children and have a special interest in helping children on a more personal level. I pride myself in being able to connect with children and work with the child, in order to teach according to the child's specific needs. With previous experience as a drama teacher, and having majored in Visual Art, I integrate creativity into my teaching style. I know that having fun and experiencing the learning, is key to retaining what is learnt. I put great importance on the development of a child - I aim to support not only academically, but emotionally and behaviourally as well. I have a passion towards the development of children, which is why I have done a counselling course and plan on doing the advanced counselling course next year. I have a special interest in Inclusive Education and plan to do my Honours in the future.

I am a qualified teacher and have been teaching grade ones for 2 years. I have been tutoring for approximately 6-7 years. As a person I am extremely passionate about children and learning more about them. I feel that the greatest change that could possibly take place in the world is through the children, as they control the future. Being in a position to shape those young minds into critical thinkers is my dream. Children who recognize their potential and understand their own worth will be the ones who change the world. In correlation with this I think that it is essential to shape and develop myself into the best possible person I was born to be in order to manage that responsibility. My intention is not only teaching young children, but to continuously learn and develop myself. I plan to further my studies by doing an honors degree through the University of Pretoria with specialization in child psychology and inclusive education. I am also currently completing an online course in Neuro Linguistic Programming and the Montessori Educators Course.
