I am intelligent, friendly and easy to talk to. My students find me approachable and they feel free to ask any question related to the subject. I am a strict teacher, but I never resort to yelling or insulting a child. If necessary, I will use a stern voice. I understand that each student is different, therefore I use various methods of problem solving. It is my belief that no one is unteachable and if a pupil struggles with a certain concept it is the teacher's duty to find a different approach that works. It is important to me that the lessons should be fun and educational. I value constructive criticism; I highlight mistakes and provide the student with the necessary tools to fix it and I complement pupils on their improvements. My teaching environment is constructive and encouraging.

I have grade 7 level piano. Grade 8 theory and harmony. I can teach guitar and saxophone and I am very proficient at both instruments as well as the piano. I have played in a military march band and have been part of the Bach Choir in Johannesburg.

Quintus Van Den Heever is a film composer, songwriter and piano teacher based in Johannesburg, South Africa. For the last fifteen years he has been involved in many projects, contributing in his own unique way to each one. For AFDA Film School, he has composed original incidental music for a variety of student films excelling in genres from suspense to animation. Quintus has contributed music and lyrics for several musical plays yet to be staged. On piano he has accompanied many vocalists, was assistant Musical Director for an amateur production of "Jesus Christ Superstar", and has written arrangements for and performed with several youth orchestras. Additionally he has found time to write and record demos for over 150 songs with various collaborators.

Matsemela Mogotlane is a graduate in MUSICAL THEATRE from Tshwane University of Technology where he graduated in 2014 with a NATIONAL DIPLOMA (CUM LAUDE) in MUSICAL THEATRE and in 2015 a BTECH in MUSICAL THEATRE. He is currently completing his BA in CREATIVE WRITING through UNISA where he is an ENGLISH and THEORY OF LITERATRUE major. He has extensive training in music and music theory (grade 6 ABRSM theory and grade 7 practical) from the National School of the Arts where he matriculated in 2011. He has also passed his first year major subjects (English annd Theory of literature) with distinction. He is helpful i providing tutoring skill for ENGLISH STUDIES, LITERATURE STUDIES and MUSIC THEORY STUDIES.
