I have experience in writing scientific work and also in reviewing literature. Currently, I have contributed to four proceedings and written scientific papers for each of them, one has been published and the others have been accepted for publication. I have also contributed to the international paper under the collaboration of ATLAS at CERN, which has also been published. However, as a postgraduate student working with CERN, it is mandatory to review papers from other institutions once every semester that adds to my experience. In addition, I wrote a research project report (during my Honours Year) and also my MSc dissertation, which is currently under review. With this experience, I believe I am among the best candidates for tutoring this subject. I also have experiencing tutoring English (volunteering) at disadvantaged communities in Pretoria.

I am a critical thinker. I see things beyond what is on the surface. I have depth. I enjoy analysing things and seeing things from different angles. I am passionate about teaching subjects that are enlightening, and eye opening. Subjects that can change a student's perception of life in the positive forever. I am passionate about literature because it is one of the best ways to obtain wisdom. It equips students with the intellectual capacity to deal with day to day issues of life. It promotes mental toughness. I will sign off by saying i love reading a lot. I have a strong relationship with books. It is part of me. I do not have to try. This is what seperates me from the rest as a good literature teacher.

I have completed my LTCL teaching diploma in English language and drama as well as currently doing my degree in linguistics and journalism which gives me an in depth knowledge into the English Language.

I loved English Literature in high school, it was the part of English I was most passionate about. I've also chosen it as my major at the University of Cape Town. I love analysing pieces of literature and studying them on an academic level.

I graduated with a distinction in English at university. I have a real passion for English and thoroughly enjoyed studying the subject. I have a love for reading and enjoy analyzing different books and often have in depth discussions with friends about books we have read.

I have achieved distinctions and awards for best academic performance in English. I also achieved the highest mark for Afrikaans. I am passionate about languages and sub categories such as poetry and the analysis thereof. I love teaching and I am very pedantic when it comes to grammar. I also read a lot and I like narrating.
