My name is Luke Baker, I am a 25 year old fully qualified English teacher, who has a passion for the subject and teaching. I have been working with school children for the last 7 years. This has ranged from ages 5-19. I worked at a boarding school in England for a year, as a boarder master. I have been a sports coach at a private school in Durban for 6 years. I spent 10 weeks teaching English as my practical experience for my pgce, as well as teaching one term of Life Orientation. I am a driven person that likes to see and help others achieve to their potential. I am a very patient and hard working individual. I get genuinely enthusiastic and proud when the people that I coach or teach excel and improve. I put in a lot of effort and pride in my work. I graduated in my undergraduate English and Communication degree and postgraduate with a distinction on both occasions. I have a huge passion for sport, I play a wide variety of sport and love being outdoor and active (healthy body - healthy mind). I am an avid follower of European football. Other hobbies include reading, flyfishing and catching up on my favorite t.v series.
