I graduated with two degrees, BA Law majoring in Criminology and LLB from the University of Pretoria. In addition, I currently practice as an attorney in a top tier law firm. I fully understand the complexities that come with the practice and various modules, plus I participated in moot courts, national and international, at University which required intense research and exceptional orator skills. Thus, I have learned methods to explain complex concepts in a manner that students can easily understand and will not forget.

I had to teach myself most of the material which meant i had to do most of my own research and had to develop my own unique study techniques. I interacted with fellow students and lecturers online.As a law student i found that some times fellow students have a way of explaining study material in a way that is better understood by students.

As a semi LLB law graduate I have completed and passed 34 law modules over the passed 5years of my studies in law I have acquired educational knowledge from class room lecturing, attending compulsory law modules tutorials, to external study materials. I believe that I am well equipped to pass down the knowledge to someone else

I was one of the recipients of the University of Johannesburg's First Year Top Achievers' Awards in 2016. In 2018 I was a tutor for first year politics, psychology and law students. During 2018, I was appointed as a Residence Academic Advisor and my duties consisted of mentoring and tutoring first year politics, psychology and law students. In 2019, I worked as an Introduction to Legal Studies tutor at the University of Johannesburg's law faculty. I tutored first year law students and I was a moot court tutor and coach. As can be seen from above, I am passionate about the law - in particular, transforming and uplifting my community. I look forward to assisting students whose chosen field of study is law.

I’m a very passionate LLB graduate who has experience in both corporate and public law sector. I have both worked and done research for State owned entities and NPO’s. In my spare time and in pursuit of my passion I write think pieces in focused on gender and the law, human rights and feminism. I have an all round in depth understanding of many areas of the law and I am also great at transferring knowledge and information.

I am a qualified attorney with 5 years practical application of the theory I studied. I completed both a LLB Degree as well as a B.Com Law degree where I obtained over 20 distinctions through the course of completing both degrees. I have a passion for teaching and I have a passion for the Law.

Despite having completed my LLB at UKZN, I have previously attended Rhodes and Wits Law Schools and therefore have amassed a wealth of different approaches to various courses in the LLB degree. I also have collected all the materials from these different institutions and wish to share these with students who so require. Given my experience in the practice of law, I believe my tutoring experience is different in the sense that it goes beyond the goal of passing the course but rather looking to equip a student with the necessary skills and approach required in the profession.
