My name is Luyanda Dlamini I attended Clifton College from grade 4 to matric. I thereafter, went to Rhodes University where I completed a Bachelor of Commerce in economics and law. Following that, I also completed an LLB (Law) degree at UKZN and will be commencing my candidate attorney articles in 2021. I offer a unique tutoring experience, in that I encourage students to view their subjects/courses from a wider perspective and encourage a holistic understanding of the work. I also hope to engage with students on a personal level so as to understand what tutoring/teaching methods will be most effective for them. I will always have a line of communication available with a student so that they can contact me at any time to discuss any difficulty that they are having with the subject content.

Despite having completed my LLB at UKZN, I have previously attended Rhodes and Wits Law Schools and therefore have amassed a wealth of different approaches to various courses in the LLB degree. I also have collected all the materials from these different institutions and wish to share these with students who so require. Given my experience in the practice of law, I believe my tutoring experience is different in the sense that it goes beyond the goal of passing the course but rather looking to equip a student with the necessary skills and approach required in the profession.

Having completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in economics, I believe I am in good stead to tutor economics up to a 3rd year level. I also have past exam papers and materials that will help students become more proficient in the subject.

Having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and LLB , and having experience as a candidate attorney, I feel as though teaching business studies and helping students cultivate their commercial awareness puts me in good stead to being an EMS/Business Studies tutor. I also accomplished a very high mark in Business Studies at a high school IEB level and therefore will be able to to understand the theory both from a student point of view and from a greater commercial perspective.

Given my profession as an attorney and my level of achievement in high school IEB English, I am of the opinion that I am well equipped to tutor English and Literature and help students master the written aspect of the subject. I have a passion for reading and writing and I want to be able to share this and spark a love for literature in students.
