A subject I fell in love with when I started my studies in economics, as someone who is studying an Economics degree it is very important you have a good understanding of the economics, and the best way to understand is the ability to help someone which is something I excelled at and got positive feedback.

I am an economics graduate and have taught High school up to University students I had enjoyed my university days where I was an economics student learning to solve complex economic problems. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of economics with students and it excites me to see them experiencing a clearer understanding of how the world functions economically. I have had the privilege of being an economics tutor with Gutsy, tutoring students ranging from high school to university and have received amazing results from all of them

I am currently aspiring to be a chartered accountant and I am in my last year of university. This was one of the subjects covered in a earlier stage of my undergraduate and i have tutored it before. I perfect for tutoring the subject in question since i have the relevant resources, experience and expertise to get a student from barely passing to a higher distinction if the student is willing too put in an equal input.

I hold a Bcom Honours in Economics from University of Johannesburg and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CIDA City Campus. From University days I am passionate about sharing knowledge with others so that they can better understand various academic concepts. This year I had an opportunity to tutor a UNISA student in Financial accounting and they got a distinction. It gives me great satisfaction to see students understand what they are studying as that empowers them excel

Economics can seem very difficult to understand for most people who study it but I had no problem in making sense of the terms. I found it easy because I could immediately apply the principles and terms to real life.

I am an extremely diligent and hardworking student who understands the principle of hard work and that nothing is handed to you easily. The fact that I’m tutoring to fund my studies bares testimony to this fact. During my schooling career business was never my passion, however, when I reached tertiary education, I became increasingly passionate about Economics, Statistics and the general business world. I believe that my passion for this educational field will rub off and impact my students positively.

This is a subject that I am passionate about and aim to show other learners just how intriguing economics can be. I have had an internship at a renowned asset management firm that helped educate me on the practicality of the subject while I was studying, and I have completed two years of economics at a university level as well.

Simply because I know my staff, theoratical and can use practical examples. I am patient and supportive towards my learners. I have a clear goal: Making sure knowledge transferred it sticks and useful.

My strength lies in my versatility and rich experience in teaching and analytical skills. Being a good listener and identifying learning challenges and working on overcoming them also serve as added advantages.
