Studying law has opened my eyes and mind to new experiences, and helped me see life, people and the world in an entirely new way. I believe what sets me apart from other strong academic candidates is my understanding of the real world and the need for unrelenting drive and constant self-improvement. I'm a great team-player, although I am also capable of taking on leadership and solo roles, as well as following instructions and taking initiative. I have ample wit, and will bring a bit of joy to any office. I hope to work in a high-pace environment as I thrive off of pressure and a bit of healthy competition. Although my academics have always been my top priority, I am also involved in several community service projects. I spend every Saturday morning either volunteering at a free legal clinic in Khayelitsha, or mentoring young women from Philippi. I am currently working as an HR/IR Consultant meaning I deal with all the different issues on a daily basis with clients from different industries as well. I attend courses with the CCMA on a monthly basis. I have alot of skill set and alot of people in the industry that I know that I can always refer to, if I cannot help.
