While at school I completed in the History Olympiad and my term marks for History as a subject were always above 75%. I love History and think it is vitally important that History be taught at schools in a fun and exciting way. I want to show you, the learner that History is fun and exciting.

I am Andries Ndlovu, all the way from Mpumalanga in the village of Mgobode which is under the Nkomazi Municipality. However, I currently reside in Johannesburg. I have successfully completed my BA Journalism qualification at the University of Johannesburg. I do a lot of reading, writing and socializing so as to grasp sufficient information in order to have an understanding of various disciplines and assist others. Teaching have always been my passion and this is proven by the fact that I am currently registered with the University of South Africa for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. With the sufficient understanding of the importance of education in contemporary society, I find it very fascinating and significant to assist others excel academically, especially the youth that defines the future of our country, South Africa.

I have recently moved back to Cape Town after living in Johannesburg for 2 years. I am a fun, loving Primary School Mathematics teacher who concentrates on 21st century teaching practices.

i am a nature lover but I also have a passion for cars. I have a lot of patience and always see the good in people. I am currently studying town and regional planning at the University of Pretoria. i had history, english second language, afrikaans home langauge, geography, science, life orientation and maths in high school. I passed all of these subjects. My hobbies are hicking and rowing. I enjoy spending time outside with my friends. I am always looking for new adventures..

Am good with theory and I've obtained higher marks in history at high school sometimes I helped my fellow classmates when they were struggling mostly in essay typed questions and source based questions.

I have always had a great interest in the history of mankind therefore I have been able to grow myself intellectually which allows me to deliver history lessons in a very interesting manner. If you think you are difficulties in this subject then I am here for you to make it easy.

I have never failed a subject or module of History, history is very close to my heart. I believe that histroy teachings is a very important aspect of societal development and communal development. In order for any community to develop that community needs to understand itself and its history. I favor and love history on this basis, that for one to make sense of who or what they are they need to understand their own history.

Because I am passionate about the subject, I have good subject knowledge and I want to share that knowledge with others to help them understand it better where they’re struggling. I ensure that I display strong subject leadership, ensure the valuing of student perspectives, build a culture of innovation and display sound subject knowledge, I also engage in continual reflection about i do and why i do it in that way.
