Being part of a large integrated community there have been many individuals who have came from foreign countries and needed help learning to communicate I have taught them how to communicate in English. I am also completing my TEFL certification so I will have formally learnt the necessary skills.

I have experience tutoring English as a foreign language to people from all walks of life. I am able to adapt my tutoring style to each student's abilities and proficiency ensuring that they get the most effective language learning experience for them.

As mentioned above, I have a great passion for English. I am also incredibly patient, versatile and have the ability to adapt my teaching methods based on students ability to understand the language being taught. For students learning English as a foreign language, I will make sure that I go at a steady pace and make sure they understand all the work before continuing with the lesson.

I have recently completed both my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) 160 hour course. Teaching in a school where English was the medium of instruction, many of the children did not come from homes where English was the spoken language. Due to this I have learnt to alter lessons to suit and help those children.

Growing up in the village I was not exposed to the English language, I learned it from watching cartoons. I remember attending a private school for the first time I was so scared because i did not trust my English but i did great. As a tutor I see students struggling with the English language and it results to some failing. English is very important and it is a barrier for others. Therefore I am passionate about helping others reach their own goals like I did. Unlike me using cartoons, for them to actually have someone with them to help.

I have 2 years teaching experience, a great passion for teaching and believe it is my true calling in life. I am thorough in my work and cater to the needs of the child well. I have experience teaching reading and writing skills as well as comprehension and analytical skills. I am able to help students in all areas of English learning.

I have an experience in teaching English online as a Foreign Language to Asian students which includes: - Literature - Grammar - Reading - Vocabulary I also did English as a First Additional Language throughout my school and varsity years. I am well acquainted in speaking and writing English very well.

I have always loved the English language. It is my mother tongue and the language I have a passion for. I excelled at English in high school and received over 90% for it in my final year. I enjoyed it so much that I pursued it in university by studying an etymology course for a year during my Bachelors degree. I then went on to complete a 320 hour in person and online course and received an advanced certificate for teaching English as a foreign language. I would love to help someone fall in love with the language that I love so much.

I completed a 150 hour TEFL/TESOL course and received the certificate with distinction. This qualification permits me to teach English as a foreign language or English to speakers of other languages in all phases from pre-school to adult level. I am in fact planning to move to Eastern Asia next year and teach English full time. I have been working as an English tutor online since May of 2020 and I just love it!
