I have been teaching the language to adults for the past 9 years and I have adapted my methods to suit casual learners. My methodology is simple and easy to follow. Each lesson gives the learner vital information they can use immediately after the lesson.

I am an isiZulu mother tongue speaker, have studied to teach it at undergraduate level and have done a postgraduate in African languages and linguistics. I have more than 8 years of isiZulu tutoring experience, have taught it at high school level and I'm currently teaching it at primary school level.

I am a 25 year old student at Unisa. -Studying towards my LLB Degree -Full time availability -has patiance -very fluent in IsiZulu -Very laborate in my explanations. I hold high values as a christian woman and I am interested in reading and writing.

Dumisani Ephraim Khumalo holds four (4) formal qualifications: a Bachelors Degree in Social Science with majors in isiZulu and Media and Cultural Studies obtained from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal(2009), an Honours in Arts with isiZulu and Teaching isiZulu as an Additional Language as majors obtained from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (2010), Post graduate certificate in Education obtained from the University of South Africa in 2015 as well as the Masters in African Languages and Linguistics from Wits University obtained in 2019. Ten years of language and cultural research and working in the Linguistics Department tutoring isiZulu to the non-Mother tongue speakers, has gained him an exposure and interest in both teaching the language and getting involved in the language planning within different structures in the university and also under the department of Justice and Constitutional development. He started teaching isiZulu as an Additional language in 2009 at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal equipping the Engineering and Health Science students with the basic communication skills and language conventions of isiZulu.

Zulu is my mother language and am willing to assist those students where the subject is compulsory at their schools and the language is not their mother-tongue. I will work to ensure best results and to ensure that the student is able to communicate the language even outside school.

I am from KwaZulu-Natal, motherland of the Zulu nation. I attended a dominent Zulu speaking (home language) school during the first few years of primary school. As I progressed to high school, IsiZulu was one of my highest marks and in Matric I was the top achiever in the whole grade for the language. IsiZulu is my mother tongue and I'd really love to impart the knowledge I have acquired thus far to another learner.
