I went from 40% in grade 9 to 80% in matric, purely because I discovered that the current teaching methods are outdated. I can show you how to see maths in a new way. I hold a Bcomm Accounting degree and a Honors degree in Investment Management.

I have always had a knack for numbers. However, not all mathematics aspects came easily to me at school. This means that I know how to persevere and put in the work required to see the marks you want. I completed both Core Mathematics as well as AP Maths at Matric level and completed first year statistics at university level.

I obtained 85% for maths in high school, studied calculus in University and have a chemical engineering degree which helps me to understand problems, and in turn how to solve them. I also have a 1+ years of teaching/tutoring experience.

I am analytical, logical and precise. I majored in Actuarial Science ,Statistics and Financial Mathematics in University. I passed both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, cum laude. I also completed six Master level statistics modules at Wits university. In addition to a solid theoretical understanding I also have practical experience having made use of my statistical and mathematical knowledge during a career in equities trading.

I achieved a distinction in matric for maths and I did a year of maths at a university level. I have tutored high school maths for 3 years so I have an in-depth understanding of the topics covered in high school and have also tutored matric students in preparation for their pre-lim and final exams.

I have studied mathematics and financial subjects at high school, first degree and master's degree level. My profession is in engineering which requires mathematical understanding and concepts in both technical problems and in financial schedules. I am comfortable to work with spreadsheets and raw data which I can convert or analyse in graphs and other trend analysis. I also have both theoretical and practical experience which allows me to apply the mathematics to real life situations. My communication skills are sound and am a good listener. Learning is an interactive process and I have the patience to allow the student to express their difficulties and I can introduce interventions and strategies to help the student to understand better and also provide additional practice material to reinforce the understanding. By planning time and spending time with the student to go through the content and working through questions, problems and examples repeatedly, the student will grasp the concepts and be able to test themselves and be confident with his or her ability. The student will his or her part of the work during the tutorials and after the tutorials in order to gain confidence and enjoyment in the subject. As the tutor, I will also do my part and make the subject as interesting as possible. I will be available via email for any question after the interactive sessions. For meaningful teaching and learning, the student must prepare for the tutorial and utilize the time to the fullest during the interactive sessions.

I really love Mathematics especially grade 8 and 9. I was one of the top achievers as a junior in high school for the whole grade. Therefore, I'd really love to impart the knowledge I have acquired thus far to another learner

I am very passionate about mathematics. I feel that mathematics is a very important subject in so many careers, and the skills of reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving gained from studying mathematics are crucial to being successful. I am a great mathematics tutor as I am very patient and able to teach students multiple ways of solving problems so as to figure out which problem-solving technique works best for each specific student.

I have always been mathematically inclined; having been an AP mathematics candidate in High School and having studied Statistics in University. I make mathematics easy and fun for all ages and can help with homework, test and exam preparations and study methods.

I love maths! I matriculated with a 93% in maths and 94% in AP maths. I have previous experience tutoring grade 12 maths. I also have two younger brother in grade 8 and 11 who I help with maths, so I am very familar with all levels of high school maths.
