I have studied calculus and trigonometry and other complex mathematical concepts for two semesters in university. In addition, I have experience in tutoring classes as I was employed by the University of Cape Town in my final and postgraduate years.

I have studied maths beyond a high school level and feel that it can be a rewarding and empowering subject to become proficient in. I enjoy helping students develop their own understanding in these lessons because I can give them my undivided attention, and cater to their unique perspectives in a way that suits their style of thinking.

Mathematisch was my favorite subject in school. I believe this subject is very important to life, as it helps you solve problems. It can be a big burden for some if they do not understand it’s ways, but once you unlock and find it’s understanding, you will love doing Maths, that is what I want to achieve by tutoring this subject.

I have completed numerous Maths modules during my university studies at both an undergrad and Honours level. I achieved 90% for Maths and Science in Matric and believe I can help anyone learn how to master Maths. I also use Maths as part of my everyday career.

Maths is like a puzzle or a game- you find all the pieces and put them together. Maths can be super rewarding! As rewarding as leveling up on a computer game, a new high score on the cricket field, learning how to tone that facial drawing perfectly to bring it to life. I have a good grasp on mathematical concepts. Having been taught by an excellent teacher myself, I know how to simplify maths and unlock the next level.

I think that the best way to understand mathematics is to begin slowly, and use a step-by-step approach with each concept and then enforce the understanding with practice examples. I believe that I can help you use this approach and assist you in any part of this process with the aim of giving you a full and comprehensive understanding of mathematics.

In addition to Accounting, I also enjoyed studying Maths. I achieved several academic awards and I was chosen by the school to enter Maths and General Knowledge programmes. I had the honour to volunteer at Holy Trinity Catholic Church to help Grades 10-12 learn and excel in Accounting, Maths and Geography.

I am an experienced mathematics tutor, offering lessons to grade 1 - grade 11. I believe that achieving within this sphere roots from the basics. I aim to find the problem areas of the student at hand and break these down, back to basics.

I'm an engineer and MBA graduate, completed various mathematical related subjects. Im highly analytical and technical. Ten years of experience giving extra lessons in maths . Extra lessons are given to highschool students(IEB and government course work) and university students. I strongly believe, specifically for maths extra lessons, that practising past papers is the key to achieving a distinction. I am kind and very patient when teaching my students. We go over a few examples in the textbook and then for exams/tests we move onto past papers in order to tackle exactly what can be expected from the student in an exam/test situation. My explanations are very clear and I explain how to tackle the problems in a clear and concise manner.

I've majored in Mathematics, Calculus,Differential equations,mathematical modelling,Algebra and Algebraic equations. I love to teach maths and am confident that I'll be a formidable tutor.
