I have gotten to teach from grade 1, all the way to stage 12, and I have even taught some adults who didn't finish school when they were teen-agers - I hope I can help you with whatever it is that you might be struggling with at the moment, so you don't feel like school is too difficult for you. I have been working for Match Research Unit (MRU) for over a year as a seTswana, English, Afrikaans, seSotho and sePedi interviewer. It is Research Health company and thus Biology and Science is mainly what we work in. I interview people with regards to their various health issues and thus speaking and teaching is not new to me. I interview in the above-mentioned languages as also translate and back translate documents in these languages. I have a passion for academics and therefore I have been tutoring Primary and High school children for the past 3 years. I was also the president of our high school Rotary club and there I orchestrated different events that had to do with youth empowerment. I am a law graduate on a gap year, hoping to do my masters in 2018 and to eventually combine the disciplines of law and education. I have a passion for education and learning as well as for children in particular.

I recently finished a National Diploma in Mining Engineering at the University of South Africa.I have worked as an Assistant teacher at Eaglesvale college where I assisted experienced and qualified teachers in fulfilling daily teaching objectives. There I gained valuable experience in dealing with students and passionately helping them achieve the worthwhile goal of education. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve, both academically and socially. In addition, I have computer skills that will be an asset when developing class projects.

I am a married Mom of 3 daughters. One of my daughters was diagnosed with ADHD in Grade 0 and attended a remedial school until Grade 3. She is now working, having completed her Honours degree. As such I have extensive experience in the patience and effort required to help ADHD children to master themselves and their studies. With my youngest daughter now being at university I have some evening time on my hands from 18h00. I am keen to help any Grade 0-9 pupils where they need help - reading, pronunciation, English, Afrikaans, Life Orientation, even Excel or knitting! My Matric subjects were English, Afrikaans, Maths, History, Science and Biology. My day job is an IT Consultant so I am a problem-solver. I have very good communication, organisational, time management and Microsoft Office skills. I am energetic, ethical and hard working.

I have graduated as a Bachelor in Science (Biochemistry and Microbiology). I have sound knowledge in Natural Science, Life Science and Physical Science. I am currently studying Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE): senior phase - Natural Science & FET phase - Life Science through UNISA.
