I have a proven track record of academic accomplishment, having received distinctions all the way from matric to Masters level at University. I am also an experienced teacher and academic tutor. English language and literature count high among my passions and I love to share it with learners. We quite literally live in the languages that we think, talk and write in. The world is only available to us as a series of concepts. Only that, which has been named, exists for us. This is why the mastery of a language is so empowering. It quite literally gives us a higher resolution access to reality. The better one's command of language, the fuller and richer one's experience of the world. As such, it is worth the effort of mastering it. Literature has a lot to say about what it is like to be human and what it all means. It does not matter what you end up doing with your life, sooner or later you will end up grappling with the big issues. E.g., is life worth living and if so, why? What is a good life? Are we all ultimately alone? Is love real or is it an illusion? What motivates people to do good or bad things? People have always grappled with these kinds of questions. Literature offers the key to a rich world of human thought and reflection. It is a resource that you can always draw on as you try to make sense of your own experiences. Literature confirms that as far as the human journey through life is concerned, you are never alone. So let's explore together!

I am an English native speaker as I was raised in a household where we spoke strictly English. I have also been an A student in English my entire life. I started reading at the age of three. Even though I can communicate in other native languages too, English was the language I’ve spoken my entire life.

I have experience in teaching English language for 2 years and have helped students improve not only their grades, but their general attitude towards it. I am also patient enough to teach those that struggle in the subject looking for best methods to help the students master basic concepts.

I like to constantly be busy. my HOBBIES/INTERESTS are Gym, friends, outdoors, children, socializing, meeting new people, and helping others obtain their possible best.

I'm an honours student at Wits and I'd really love to help children struggling to learn because education is a gift that every one should be able to embrace.
