I am an education editor for an internationally accredited higher education institution, and I have former experience in lecturing English and Philosophy to both first and second/foreign language students. I received training and have teaching experience in both Australia and South Africa. My current full-time job comprises improving the standard of learning material for our students from both a language and pedagogical perspective, and my passion in life is to positively contribute, in any way possible, to students' learning experience.

I am extremely passionate about English and all it has to offer and it helps that I am an avid reader and did AP English in my high school days. Literature is such a diverse and difficult section, but my enthusiasm for the language only makes it easier.

I am an excellent teacher in reading and writing especially young children and also older children in essays. I know different types of techniques of how to teach all sorts of students. I love education.

Studied foundation phase through UNISA and have always wanted to teach kids and help them in an ever changing environment. I have a passion for children and helping them grow. Being able to read is the foundation for their future.

I am the best tutor for this subject as I enjoy reading and teaching students how to read. Reading can be fun and there are many ways to improve reading in a fun and interactive way. I enjoy showing students the joy in reading and seeing them grow.

I am a creative writer by profession so this is home ground for me. I am best suited for tutoring this subject because I have over 4 years’ experience teaching children how to read and write. I have all the required skills and patience to make sure that my learners are able to improve their reading skills. I focus on pace, pronunciation, tone and clarity.

I am the best tutor because I completed a aced the ”English for academic purposes” course for university level, I took Advanced Programme English in high school and completed in an academic decathlon called The World Scholars Cup where we placed 1st for the regional round. Albeit my merits and accolades, I also genuinely enjoy English and the language in general so I will be pleased to assist.

As mentioned in other subject areas, I am studying to be a foundation phase teacher. I have been taught techniques and ways to help learners who struggle with reading. Reading is something that everyone should be able to enjoy and I feel strongly about helping children to achieve fundamental skills such as reading and writing.
