Passionate and energetic, I have a MA English Studies and tutored at the prestigious Stellenbosch University for 1.5 years where my positive and friendly manner enabled my students to feel comfortable enough with me to become completely immersed in the learning environment. I have also served as the Co-Facilitator of the English Skills Programme at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I taught students from various international locations, and as in my CELTA training completed in November 2018, my friendly nature endeared me to the students and inspired them to learn. As a teacher, this is my primary aim and my greatest achievement. Adaptability is key and I always attempt to engage my students on a personal level so that they may enjoy learning. I cater to the needs of my students rather than remaining tied to one teaching method.

I am a passionate, caring and patient teacher. I have worked with many types of learners; some on higher levels, some on very low levels, those with a language barrier and even those with learning disabilities such as ADHD. I love children and most of all I love seeing them progress. I work hard and I always do my best to help every student individually according to their needs.

Hello! I am 25 years old and have recently graduated with a Bachelor of engineering in chemical engineering at Stellenbosch University. My course has covered topics such as minerals processing, mass balancing, chemistry, fluid dynamics, process control, biology, Maths and programming. I particularly enjoy statistics and Python programming. In my spare time I play the guitar, I have a grade 5 in classical guitar (Royal Schools of Music) and taught myself to play the electric guitar. Additionally, I enjoy volunteering at animal shelters and reading.

My name is Michaela and I ma a 22 year old female living in sunny South Africa. I have a passion for nature, animals and conservation owing to my time spent studying Zoology and Physiology. I also enjoy painting and drawing, reading a good book, spending time with my family and drinking lots of tea and coffee. I grew up speaking English as my home language (my mother is an English teacher) and offer tutoring for subjects such as Biology, English Literature, Mathematics to university students, high school students and my two younger sisters.
