I have recently obtained my 120hr TEFL certificate, therefore I am qualified to teach English and I have the skills to do so online. I have a passion for the language and would love to share that passion.

I am a home language English speaker and have had a love for my language for many years. I spend a lot of my free time reading and enhancing my skill set in this department. I have 2 younger sisters so I am constantly helping them with their language and language development. I stay up to date with the developments in the education system around English and the material that has been placed into the syllabus. I went to an IEB school so I have a good understanding of how the English department works in this system. However, I was trained in the CAPS curriculum at university so I have a good understanding of both systems and the expectations of each. I understand that language is not everyone's strong point and therefore try to make my lessons as fun and creative as possible while still addressing the fundamental skills in each aspect of the subject.

I have completed my modules for the English in both home language , first additional language and second language. I am able to help learning for the pre reading process and helping learners work on their pronunciation and fluency.

I received the English Prize in high school and have a lot of experience in Creative Writing, Public Speaking and Debating. I have experience participating in English Olympiads and Creative Writing Competitions. I have participated and ranked in several competitions which involve speaking and can really help you write an amazing oral/speech! I have a passion for writing and reading and would love to help you achieve your potential.

I speak, read and write this language fluently. I have 4 years experience in teaching this language to learners and have seen great improvements. I always ensure that the lessons are fun and exciting. This method of teaching ensures that the learner has an interest in the topic, understand it clearly and finds it easier to remember.

I achieved an A at high school level for English Home Language and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of the subject. As such, I am happy to share tips and tricks I have picked up with students. I am also huge on reading, which makes me a good candidate.

I am a qualified teacher in this subject. I have taught English Language and Literature at a South African school at high school level. I have also taught English to students of varying ages and abilities as an online English teacher, and as an in-person ESL teacher in China. I also feel that my experience as an MFL teacher and student myself has taught me skills that are applicable to teaching English. For example, I am an excellent teacher of English grammar and the structure of the language, as I have learnt the terms and meanings of different grammar concepts from learning other languages myself.

Given my profession as an attorney and my level of achievement in high school IEB English, I am of the opinion that I am well equipped to tutor English and Literature and help students master the written aspect of the subject. I have a passion for reading and writing and I want to be able to share this and spark a love for literature in students.

I am a Civil Engineer (BScEng), and my entire degree is based heavily on advanced mathematics, applied mathematics, advanced calculus and application of this knowledge in engineering. During my years of study I have mastered the craft of english as my dissertations and reports required an extremely high proficiency of the English language, so much so that it has become second nature to me. I have previously tutored many students, many of who's marks have improved by more than 25% during the course of the year. My current studies towards my Masters degree (MScEng) implies that I am capable of thinking and working at a much higher level to the average student/tutor.
