I grew up within the valleys of Kzn, Zulu is my mother tongue and I have a wealth of knowledge of not only the language but the culture aswell,therefore I am very comfortable in teaching the language.

I will be a good Zulu tutor because Zulu is my original language. I grew up at KwaZulu Natal, Pietermaritzburg. I also did Zulu as my first language during my metric year. It is imperative for students to learn, understand and grasp Zulu as it is one of the major languages spoken in South Africa. I will be a good teacher, as part of my job description requires me to teach and train students. I am currently working at Agricultural Research Council (ARC) as a lab technician and my job description includes teaching students lab work, practicals and also help them with their projects. I work at Molecular, Mycology and Bacteriology labs.

I have a track record of good matric results. Last year i took my time to go teach at a primary School level so that am able to bridge the gap that my high school learners had when it comes to vocabulary and spelling.

IsiZulu is my mother's language which I am very proud about. It is one subject where I grasped everything at first teachings with no need to elaborate. IsiZulu is one charismatic subjects that easy and enjoyable to learn , totally adorable!

IsiZulu is my home language, which provides me with the best knowledge of this subject. It’s not as hard people think it is. Once you have a better understanding of the basics it won’t be a challenge to understand the rest.

Dumisani Ephraim Khumalo holds four (4) formal qualifications: a Bachelors Degree in Social Science with majors in isiZulu and Media and Cultural Studies obtained from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal(2009), an Honours in Arts with isiZulu and Teaching isiZulu as an Additional Language as majors obtained from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (2010), Post graduate certificate in Education obtained from the University of South Africa in 2015 as well as the Masters in African Languages and Linguistics from Wits University obtained in 2019. Ten years of language and cultural research and working in the Linguistics Department tutoring isiZulu to the non-Mother tongue speakers, has gained him an exposure and interest in both teaching the language and getting involved in the language planning within different structures in the university and also under the department of Justice and Constitutional development. He started teaching isiZulu as an Additional language in 2009 at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal equipping the Engineering and Health Science students with the basic communication skills and language conventions of isiZulu.

Isizulu is my mother tongue, home language and my favorite language. I have excellent communication skills (Zulu) both written and verbally. It would be my absolute pleasure to teach this language And it will be a way for me to give back to the community.

I'm a pure Zulu by birth, fluent and a good background on the language with certificate of the being the best learner in matric, motivates me to confidently say I am the best tutor and teacher of IsiZulu, Azibuye Emasisweni, imbila yaswela umsila ngokulayezela.

I am a born and bred young Zulu woman and have learnt IsiZulu from primary to high school. I not only excel in communicating in the language but also helping people to learn it, for academic purposes or for merely knowing the language.

Zulu is my mother language and am willing to assist those students where the subject is compulsory at their schools and the language is not their mother-tongue. I will work to ensure best results and to ensure that the student is able to communicate the language even outside school.
