IsiZulu is my mother tongue. I have a full understanding of the language and I can switch/translate easily between English and isiZulu. I will not have any issues in assisting my learners. I was also taught how to teach isiZulu as a second language in university. Those skills will help me assist my learners.

I achieved a distinction in isiZulu in Matric and had a love for the culture involved in the subject. As isiZulu is not my home language, I understand what it is like to be a student learning the language with minimal to no knowledge base of it outside of the classroom.
