I have an excellent vocabulary. I was fortunate enough to have studied at a private school and learn from people who spoke english all day everyday and at a high level. I speak English every day and like to show off the plethora of words I know.

I have 10 years experience teaching English as a First and Home Language. I have 6 years experience as the subject head of languages: moderating assessments and examination papers. I have completed various courses and training to keep up to date with changes in the system. I have been Head of Department of Educational Guidance for 2 years.

Its important to spell a word correctly and by that I want to show your child how easy it can be to spell correctly. When you can spell a word correctly people automatically think you're smart and they want you to teach them.

I have a passion for grammar, reading, and writing. It is so important to pay attention to details when writing so that you can convey the most accurate message to the reader. It is important to use a variety of words so that your message is not boring for the reader.

I have completed my LTCL teaching diploma in English language and drama as well as currently doing my degree in linguistics and journalism which gives me an in depth knowledge into the English Language.

I am extremely well spoken and possess and utilise an outstanding vocabulary When I was a young boy, many people used to accuse me of swallowing a dictionary, the truth is that I love vocabulary and will always try to use the correct word to describe a situation, emotion, action or reaction correctly

I achieved a Distinction for English in Matric and have always read extensively so vocabulary came quite naturally to me. In Primary School, I did Kumon, an extra-curricular program for English and won numerous awards.

I have participated in multiple English Olympiads, achieving either Silver or Gold levels. I also achieved high marks in my matric results for the subject and have completed an Arts and Humanities course at university. I have also received prizes for competing in poetry competitions. In my free time, I write poetry and short stories.

Without vocabulary it is very difficult to read and write in the English language. The bigger your vocabulary the more interesting the English language will become. If there is a word you do not understand, take a dictionary and look up the word and see what it means and then you have added a new word to your list of vocab that you can use at any time because you know the meaning of the word.

Vocabulary is crucial for becoming a proficient reader and for the development of language skills. I can help in the development of vocabulary by creating an interest in words through fun and meaningful lessons. I will prioritize words that my learner will encounter in reading, link the new words to previously known words to help grasp the meaning of the words and their use as well as exposing the same vocabulary to them through reading and writing activities.
