History is a passion of mine. I am more than willing to not only help with the course work, but also to garner a deeper understanding of past events as well as the impact it has had on our current events, linking the past and present. I am currently studying for my bED in intermediate fase education and I am specializing in Social Sciences.

I love the history and historical events and I am able to explain concepts in ways that are easier to understand as well as I am able to notice and fix problem areas. History ultimately is a story and I wish to allow one to enjoy the story and learn from it.

I enjoyed history in High School and passed Matric with distinctions. I am a self-motivated and innovative person with a passion and a thirst for learning and development. Having worked as a tutor before, I always inspire my students to reach for greatness with the right amount of focus and personal effort. I am able to inspire students to plan and reach their academic goals. I believe positivity and the right kind of motivation goes a long way.

Marcus Garvey once said “ A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.” That is why I love history, history is the foundation of everything we know today and everything that we are. History has helped mould us into who we are today. However I cannnot deny the fact that history doesn’t seem fun for everyone, and that’s where I come in. As a tutor it is my aim to make you see history in a whole new light and will leave you absolutely in love with the subject just as I have come to love it myself. I intend on creating an environment where fun is prioritized and through that I believe that learning will naturally flow.

I am skilled in the art of essay writing being a law student. I also recieved an A average at the end of matric for this subject. I was lucky enough to have one of the top history teachers in high school and I will be able to model my tutoring on his exceptional teaching skills.

I have a longstanding passion and fascination with historical events and cultures. My current major at university falls under the History department and all of my subjects are related to the topic in one manner or another

I graduated in Geography. I am well equipped in this course. I did both research and practical work I am currently doing my PGCE, learning how to transfer my knowledge to both FET and GET levels I am a tutor at Wits university Teaching first year students a course on environmental conservation which is part of geography I am a tour guide at Wits origins center which is based on both geography and archaeology (history)

I had Historical Studies as a compulsory module at the University of Johannesburg for a period of 3 years as part of my degree. I did fairly well and above average in it. I have great knowledge of South African, East Asian, and general European history. From the first and second world war, to the cold war, from the Asian dynasties to the histories of sexuality and more, I am very well educated and informed.
