My mother tongue is German and I had German as a school subject since I was in Primary School. The majority of lectures during my first year of my BSc degree were in German and I write fiction since I was fifteen years old.

I enjoy the German language as it is one of my home languages. I am fully fluent as both my parents are from German descent. I attended the German Primary School from Nursery School level until completion of Grade 7.

I am half German and grew up speaking the language. I often visited Germany as I had family living there and I lived there for 9 months in 2020. I have a level B2 in the German language and I had the second highest marks for German in the class.

In addition to speaking German , I actually taught myself the language before I took it as a subject and I was consistently the best learner. So I’ll be able to help with German, even at a fundamental level

I believe I am the best tutor for this subject as German is my home language, but I have also studied (univeristy degree including Honours) and taught it (to university students and adults) for over four years. I have a love for languages and I am passionate about teaching German.

I studied German in university, I have my A1 certificate from the Goethe Institut SA, where I received 88% for the exam. I am currently preparing for my B1 exam. I also work for a Germany-based company.

I am a firm believer that one should always learn more languages. I have had the privilege to study the German language in Germany. I have a lot of patience and experience in teaching a third or second language to learners

I worked as a German teacher and tutor with a fairly broad range of students: from primary school pupils to undergraduates in their third year of study. Though I've spent some time living in Germany, I'm not a native speaker, which I think can be quite useful in teaching second- or third-language students. I've had to learn the rules through my studies, rather than the intuition of a native speaker.

I come from a German family and have studied it at many levels. I received my Deutsches Sprachdiplom in my grade 11 year, which certifies that I am able to speak the language at home language level. I also got 95% for German Second Additional language in matric.

I can offer both academic and conversational classes in German. I have spent time in Germany and I have traveled the country. I can teach from beginner German up to intermediate. I am able to teach up to level B2 as set out by the CEFR. German does not have to be a scary language! it is actually quite fun to learn and speak.
