I have always been passionate about the social sciences. Helping expand students knowledge of the world that surrounds them and how it affects them is a special passion of mine. Geography is so much more to me than meteorology and climatology now but a study of the forces that shape our earth and studying the people that inhabit it. I find it incredibly fascinating and only hope that my passion is passed on a little bit to my students. I have taught geography at highschool level and studied it at university.

I have completed Geology Year 2 and Advanced Earth Sciences Year 3 at university level (Wits University). I have the knowledge required to tutor the subject matter at both the primary school and high school levels.

I consider myself a productive worker with a solid work ethic who exerts optimal effort to ensure all tasks given to me are completed on time and to the highest standards. I am constantly working to acquire the latest professional certifications for classroom facilitation and GIS technology, I contribute to the development of course materials and other educational tools by authoring content, providing technical expertise, and sharing feedback, as well as develop strong and collaborative relationships with the content development, delivery support, and training sales teams. As part of my duties I also participate in interdepartmental projects, conferences, and interest group meetings to bolster training, and support, coach, and mentor existing and new instructors in both GIS and other technical areas of expertise.

Hi there, I am a former teacher with a Bahelor of Science degree and currently completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours. I have teaching experience in Mathematics and Geography. I have a BSc in Geology from the University of Pretoria and I am an old boy of Pretoria Boys' High School. I myself am aware of the struggles associated with understanding certain concepts in maths and science, and therefore I have a great deal of empathy and patience for students who do not grasp new concepts as easily as others. I aim to exercise fundamental understanding so that students begin to enjoy what was initially a source of unnecessary stress.
