My name is Natalie Gouveia, I am 19 years old and I am in my 2nd year at the University of Pretoria studying a B Ed Foundation Phase degree. I love working with children, and I am open to any job that requires working with them and helping them to succeed in the future.

I am a professional Bass guitar and guitarist. I am passionate about music education and I have experience teaching a diverse group of students, children as well as adults. I have a Btech degree in jazz and popular music obtained from Tshwane university of Technology and three years of teaching experience.

In 2011 I completed my honours degree in Corporate Communication Management where I graduated first in my class. Lecturing is my passion. I am a 26 year-old female currently residing on Pretoria. I am a lover of nature and the outdoors, birds and wildlife. I am a qualified graphic designer, having obtained my BA Information Design degree at the University of Pretoria in 2012. I have 4 years industry experience. My interest in graphic design started with my love for visual art & literacy, a field of study I still find fascinating. I am also a keen musician, having played piano up to Grade 8 level and tenor saxophone to Grade 5 level. I am fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans and have an excellent written and spoken command of both languages.

I have been a private tutor and aupair since 2011, I also have experience as a homeschool teacher and successfully helped students graduate matric. I enjoy working with kids and finding a way to connect with them and teach them in a way that they relate to. I have experience both as a tutor for grade one to twelve. I am also able to assist in all subjects, and also extra curricular activities such as drama, poetry and speech competitions.

I am an outgoing and assertive young lady with intellectual status and ambition. My passion for communicating with people allows me to understand the variable nature of how people think. This, above all intrigues me. I am said to have a unique personality that extends to all cultures with a firm balance when dealing with academics, colleagues, friends and family. My travel to places abroad and within our vibrant country has given me a different perspective to the world around me. Additionally, armed with the spirit of excellence in everything that I do, my aim is to explore the world of Corporate Communications via dedication and hard work so that I am able to secure solid practical experience in preparation for an invigorating and rewarding career.

I am ambitious, dedicated and hard-working. I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in Language Practice. I also work as an Online English Teacher and a Freelance Writer. The languages I studied in highschool include: English Home Language and Afrikaans First Additional Language.
