I received an average of 92% for Natural Sciences in my Grade 12 year and have excellent social skills (not the typical engineer). I have a passion for Science (specifically Chemistry) and seeing people succeed in this subject.

I obtained an average of 83% for physical sciences (physics and chemistry) at the end of matric, and obtained a 90% for chemistry in my preliminary exam. Chemistry is one of my main subjects in university and we have been over most of the high school chemistry, and expanded on it. I’ve achieved a university distinction (78%) for chemistry in first semester so it is safe to say I have a good understanding of it. Chemistry is a subject that is made up of work you need to UNDERSTAND rather than work you can learn off by heart. I can provide you with explanations that will hopefully help you to understand the work, and not just learn how to do specific problems as if you understand the work itself you can apply it to any problem you’re given.

I've done work in general chemistry and thermodynamics at a university level and thoroughly enjoy it. I am patient and always keen to help, it would be a pleasure to be given the opportunity to help you develop an understanding and love for the subject.

I am a dedicated student who understands the importance of having a tutor. I am currently studying a BSc Medical Science degree at the University of Pretoria. I am a part of the Golden Key International Honours Society. I maintain my degree all while still competing nationally and provincially in my sport. I believe tutors help students achieve a good foundation for further learning.

In my first and second year of university I began to love and acquire a passion for chemistry as i found it easier to understand concepts. As such i would be well able to use practical models to explain problems to students and help them understand the concepts behind mathematics involved in chemistry.

I have always had a love for Chemistry. I obtained a bachelors degree in Microbiology and Chemistry. I enjoying helping students learn and experience the wonder of chemistry as it explains the world around us.

As a chemical engineer, I am an expert in all fields of chemistry. I understand how seemingly abstract concepts in chemistry can be applied to every day scenarios and this allows me to keep my students engaged and my lessons interesting.

I am very passionate about chemistry, I got an A symbol in my IGCSE exams and even went on to do it i at University level. Although I am good at Chemistry all-round, I am especially good at Organic Chemistry.
