I am a newly qualified BEd (Foundation Phase) teacher having just graduated Cum Laude from Stellenbosch University. I have gained teaching experience throughout my studies to becoming a teacher. I enjoy working with children and I acknowledge that all learners are different and that they require different needs. My passion lies with teaching and learning, and I seek to assist learners in reaching their full potential. I have the ability to adapt the curriculum and content to suit the learner’s needs.

I am 23 years old and live in Cape Town. I have just completed my fourth year studying a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching. I am fully devoted to child development as I feel very strongly about teaching children independence and facilitating their learning process. I am always positive about all situations as having a optimistic outlook on life allows for success and happiness to flourish. I tend to put everyone else's needs before mine as the happiness of others contributes to my happiness. Lessons that I facilitate will most likely have a fun and interactive aspect to it as learning should be fun and self explorative. Hi there! My name is Maddie and I graduated on the Dean's Merit list from UCT with a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and English. I normally work in the film industry and just finished working on the latest season of Love Island, but due to Coronavirus I'm stuck at home. I have an in depth knowledge of media studies and I'm passionate about pop culture and the social world. The subjects I'd be best to help you in are my two majors, Psych and English, but also anthropological studies that look at the world through and intersectional lens. For High Schoolers I can help with English, Biology, and History. Primary school I can help with all subjects. I look forward to working with you and think we'll have a lot of fun!
