Afrikaans tutors in Gardens

I am very good at explaining and teaching. I am patient and know all the things learnt in Afrikaans in class at school. I grew up in an Afrikaans family and I received a high distinction in Afrikaans for matric.

My mother tongue is Afrikaans. I also took Afrikaans in High school and achieved a distinction on my final NSC certificate. I am also Afrikaans in culture and family history which aids my ability to teach the language and the nuances that lie between culture and language.

I'm a first language Afrikaans speaker with a passion for the language. I completed Afrikaans II at UCT in 2010. My 5 years experience teaching Afrikaans FAL at high school level has equipped me with a keen understanding of the NSC and its requirements.

I matriculated with a distinction in Afrikaans First Additional Language and received mostly A's throughout high school in this subject. I am much better at the language side rather than the creative writing side but I can help in both areas.

My home language is Afrikaans and I would love to teach and help others who struggle with it. I am patient, calm and would find new and creative ways to make this subject the most relevant to students' interest and fun as I possibly can.
