I tutored second year students Management Accounting at the University of Cape Town and also contributed to the marking process of tests and exams. I received a first-class pass for Management Accounting in university.

I'm currently studying and working to become a Chartered Accountant. Accounting is a large part of my day to day life. I enjoy teaching and sharing what I've learnt in order to really help others and make a difference. Accounting can be really fun - once you understand the main principles :)

I studied this at Postgrad level and achieved one of the highest marks in the course. I achieved 93% for accounting in Matric Senior Certificate. I also Passed my Bcom Degree with Distinction achieving distinction for all three years in Accounting. I have an Honours Degree in Financial Management, CIMA Dip in Management Accounting, Adv CIMA Dip Management Accounting and have passed Advanced Financial Reporting for CIMA on the first sitting. I have tutored high school students in Accounting before and have had more than 6 years practical experience of accounting and group accounting including Manufacturing, Payroll, Tax, Consolidations, Distribution, Retail, Trusts, and International Accounting. I am able to explain concepts in a simple and easy to understand format and build from that to ensure students can apply concepts effectively in exams and commercial environment.

I have a passion for tutoring any accounting related modules (Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Auditing) and hold an Post Graduate Diploma In Applied Accounting Sciences (CTA) which is the highest university qualification for accounting studies required to qualify as a chartered accountant. I further passed my SAICA Initial Test of Competency which assesses one`s technical knowledge to become a chartered accountant soon after completing university studies. My practical experience in the accounting and auditing industry coupled with prior tutoring experience gives me the tools to pass any accounting or management accounting student that pass through my hands.

I possess CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK), Masters in Finance from UCT and currently a PhD in Finance student at UCT. I also possess a postgraduate course in Taxation. I am well able to tutor in many areas of Accounting such as audit, risk management, finance, mathematics etc

Managerial Accounting is very easy once you get the hang of it. I loved management accounting in varsity and even got a distinction. It is a very diverse module and can easily be passed with enough hard work and tutoring. I work easily with students as I also tutored them in Res while I was in Kovsies.
