Greetings. My name is Lee-Ann. I am a undergraduate student at the university of South Africa. I believe education is very important and therefore I am very passionate about tutoring and empowering students with the knowledge of grasping and most importantly passing modules or subjects they find challenging.

Hi, guys I’m currently a 4th year BSc Civil Engineering student at the University of Cape Town (UCT). I am currently one year away from graduating and I hope to explore structural or transport engineering once I graduate. I excelled in mathematics in high-school and achieved 87% for my finals and have gone on to complete four engineering mathematics courses. I also have a great interest in history and have a firm understanding of planning and writing historical essays, which forms part of the high-school curriculum. I’ve decided to give online tutoring a try as I not only want to maintain the knowledge I currently have, I also want to be able to make a difference in a student’s life. Having received tuition throughout high-school, I hope to provide a more interactive and enjoyable tutoring service that only motivates students but also prepares them for their future academic journey.

Curiosity should be the driver that ignites our love of learning. However all to often we stumble over the technicalities of our subjects turning them from interesting foundations to our lives, into frightening barriers to our progress. Hi, I am currently in my third year of studying a Bachelor of Business Science Degree (Finance and Accounting). I chose to study this as I have a passion for problem solving and that's kind of what accounting feels like to me. A really big puzzle, where the more I learn, the more I complete the puzzle. The reason I'm studying finance is because I find it interesting to understand the valuation of investments. Yes, I enjoy learning the cycle of money through accounting concepts and finance concepts. Other than this, I have a passion for art and adore cats :)

My name is Lauren, I am currently a Ph.D student in neuroscience, I have degrees in biochemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry. I have broad interests and have a fun and witty personality and always up for a laugh. Hard work is one of the core characteristics of success, but this is very dependent on how much you enjoy a specific subject and how interested you are in it, this is what I would like to show you, how to enjoy what you learn. I am able to teach complicated subjects like mathematics, biochemistry, microbiology and biology as well as economics. I can teach at any grade, including tertiary education at undergraduate level. Remember your brain is a very powerful organ and no problem is too big for it to solve, believe in yourself.

Dear prospective students. I am currently a music teacher in the United Arab Emirates, but am returning to Cape Town in December 2020. I've just finished my Master's in Music at Stellenbosch University. I've been a music teacher for the past 12 years, and taught subject Music up to Grade 12. The passing rate of my students consistently ranged between mostly A's and then B's with the occasional C's. I am a pianist and I love Music theory, arrangement, composition. I am extremely patient and I love educating.
