Molly R - Tutor in Rondebosch
I’m a BSc student at the University of Cape Town. I have a year’s worth of tutoring experience in high school maths, physical science, Afrikaans FAL, biology, history, AP Maths and English HL. All of my lessons are catered to the individual student's needs; together we will work out what best works for you! Tutoring has to be a positive experience if any learning or improving is to be done, and so I do my best to create a relaxed, welcoming environment. I received 8 distinctions in Matric with a 94% average, and I really love to teach and work with others!

As a tutor, both through a company and privately, I mainly offer online, 1-on-1 lessons. This allows students to attend lessons from the comfort of their own home, no travelling necessary, and maintains a level of safety for all involved during this COVID pandemic. I help students with homework questions, exam and test preparation, and often source my own material for them. It's work that I find incredibly rewarding.

Maths is my favourite subject to teach, as once you understand one thing others tend to fall into place, and I love watching that "aha" moment! I did very well in maths throughout high school, and have studied it at university. I'm excited to show you all the tricks I've picked up along the way! I'm very patient, and happy to explain things many times and work at whatever pace suits you.

I'm very excited to share that passion with you! I'm also a qualified TEFL English teacher, so I am well-versed in English-teaching techniques as both a first and second language.
