History is my passion and a subject that strives to better the society and the future. The NSC curriculum requires Source-based assessment and Essay writing skill, and teaching these skills are vital as it stimulates objective development and assessment that can be use in various other subject matters.

I have a great passion for history and had it till matric, I love learning and teaching about history as it is so fun and important. I have effective ways of studying history that is both fun and practical.

History has always been a major passion for me. Not only did I do history throughout my school Intersen phase at school but studied it as a choice subject in grade 10 to 12. While studying my Bachelor of Education Degree, I specialised in the subject of Social Science. This qualifies me to teach history and geography from Gr 4-9. However, due to my love of History, I often research and do programs learning about certain parts of history which helps me to teach learners in higher grades as well.

In university all subjects go hand-in-hand to inform and build on one another. You have to understand essay writing first an foremost to be able to succeed in history. The subjects I've majored in have taught me critical thinking and given me essay writing skills that I would be able to assist you with.

I am knowledgeable in the subject as I have done it since Advanced Level high school, more so I graduated with a B.A with it included, went on to do honors and masters in the subject. I have also tutored the subject since 2014 when I began my post-grad and have tutored it ever since then. I have over the years managed to get satisfactory response from learners and supervisors head of departments alike.

History is one of those subjects that you either find very fascinating or it puts you to sleep. I fall into the former category as I love a good story and seeing the timeline on which the events unfolded. However, it does not matter if you are a fan of the subject or if you are merely looking to obtain a good grade, I am willing to help you reach your goal. History (NSC: 87%)

I have an easy grasp on this subject and can explain it in the simplest way that you can easily remember. In the end year examination I received 92 % for History and it was my highest mark. My passion will show and may inspire you.

Finding history interesting is the first step to memorisation and recall in this subject. I will help make it interesting. Adept at editing and assisting with any assignment or essay. Besides consistently achieving excellent results in history throughout school and university, I have read widely on the subject and offer a fresh perspective on any topic.

I have completed my honours in History, and can help students with footnoting, research, writing and the art of engaging writing. I have a wide knowledge of topics across history and a good understanding of current trends in the field.

With my 5 years of teaching experinece I have been teaching students from grade 4 to 7. I have experience in teaching History to various abilities. I believe learning about History enables us to learn from mistakes or Triumphs of the past in order for us to make a better future for all. I ensure my History lessons are fun and enjoyable for all, as I believe learning while having fun is the best way to learn.
