Novels, Shakespeare and poetry are all loves of mine and I would enjoy exploring your set works with you! If it's a play, book or poem I am not immediately familiar with, I am more than willing to take the time to learn and break it down before any lessons.

Literature has been my absolute passion since a young age. I'm never without a book to read and I love reading between the lines to deepen my experience. I took English as my major during my undergraduate studies.

With the exposure I have had, I've been able to expand on key characteristics such as patience, empathy, understanding and care which enables me to be a great tutor. I believe tutoring should be tailored to the specific student and I have become adept in identifying the best means for a student to achieve a deep understanding of the work/subject at hand. I would also consider myself to be quite relatable and I would always ensure that the student is comfortable and confident to participate in lessons and to work towards any goals that are set.

I received an A for English in high school, for all three papers - literature, creative writing, and vocabulary. I also took English literature and vocabulary in my first year of university. I absolutely love English. I have over 5 years of English tutoring experience. Teaching literature is a unique experience in which real understanding can be cultivated, and in which philosophy, current events, societal analysis, and critical thinking can be activated.

English has always been one of my favorite subjects. I am an avid reader and I am fastidious about grammar, punctuation and the likes! In high school, I did both English first language (FAL) and Advanced Programme English. I achieved a distinction for both. I also have experience in teaching English.

I am a graduate of English Honours. I am proficient at editing, writing, creative writing, analysis, and reading. I can help with setworks and Shakespeare at school. I am also able to check essays and prepare students for comprehension and exam questions. I want to make students confident and passionate about literature.

English was and still is my favourite subject. I love reading and understanding the themes and fundamental make-up of novels and books is something I do in my spare time. Encouraging others to love reading is something that I would like to do full time.

I finished Matric with a distinction in this subject. I love the English language and teaching. I have great ideas on how to remember literature which worked very well for myself in school. I have a fun and interesting way in learning which I would love to teach others since it helped me so well.

I am a fluent english speaker and achieved great results for the subject throughout high school. I enjoyed the english subject throughout my school career and continued to read throughout university to keep my english skills up to standard.
